Hello!
I'm Holly, and I'm the owner of Corset Entertainment. I'm so excited to announce the grand opening of The Burlesque Studio, nestled in the heart of Braybrook, Melbourne! Burlesque has been my passion for many years - I've absolutely fallen in love with this art form and have dedicated my life to performing and producing shows, most notably the stage show Shimmery Burlesque. I love the way burlesque celebrates creativity, individuality, confidence... and of course a touch of sparkle. Through The Burlesque Studio I hope to create a space dedicated to having fun, where people can dance and feel sexy and celebrate themselves. Regardless of if you want to become a Burlesque performer, I strongly believe that the foundations of Burlesque can really benefit anyone's lives, and offers an opportunity to embrace your true self. Dancing lifts the spirit, and allows us to connect with our body and mind alike.
I have curated four classes for the opening of the studio, each I believe create a great foundation to the art of tease! There will be classes in Classic Burlesque, Fan Dancing, Feather Boas and Chair Dancing and soon to be released classes in Burlesque Fitness and Burlesque Roving (my favourite!).
We are opening with classes at a beginner / open level, so whether you're stepping into the world of burlesque for the very first time or a performer looking to enhance specific skills, you'll find a safe and supportive environment suitable for your experience level.
Burlesque in the west! How exciting! Our Braybrook studio is a beautiful converted warehouse space, that is also the rehearsal house for all of my stage shows as well as my partners photography/videography business. It's full of creative energy and makes for the perfect place to learn burlesque.
